I worked for Studio Kernland on the grid, style and layout of Smurfit Kappa’s Lustrum magazine. Smurfit Kappa is Europe’s leading corrugated packaging company and one of the leading paper-based packaging companies in the world. Their Roermond departement went through a big transformation in the last five years, in which they renewed one of their biggest papermills named Aethon. The magazine gives an insight into the huge impact of this transformation, and shows what makes the company and their employees unique and succesfull.
